A Career in Tourism

The tourism sector is diverse and offers career opportunities in a variety of fields that can be professionally and financially rewarding. There are over one (1) million people currently employed in tourism in the Caribbean and as the sector becomes increasingly important to the Caribbean economies and continues to grow, more people will be needed to service this people-intensive industry.

Tourism is divided into seven sub-sectors: Accommodation, Travel Trade & Tourism Services, Food & Beverage, Tourism Offices, Sites and Attractions, Events & Conferences and Entertainment.
